		<description>I am somehow fascinated by the "environmentalists vs. aesthetes" issue outlined in the WSJ article. Let's look at it from another perspective: concrete blocks are a terrible "aesthetic vs security" trade-off... but they are acceptable. I suspect that it all boils down to the priority you give to different risks: the fear of being blown up by terrorists is more immediate (and outraging) than the distant threat posed by climate change. Nobody would care about aesthetics when trying to avoid a direct threat!</description>
