Environmental Capital - A New WSJ Blog
by Whit Ayres
February 1st, 2008

I wanted to alert Terra Rossa readers to a new blog from the Wall Street Journal, Environmental Capital. Compiled by veteran journalists Keith Johnson and Jeffrey Ball, it is a useful and insightful roundup of the energy and environmental news of the day, particularly as it relates to the overall U.S. and global economies. It also talks about new developments in clean energy technology, as well as information about government activity in these areas, both things of interest to us here at Terra Rossa. I encourage our readers to give it a look.

To limit pollution and reduce our dependence on foreign energy sources we should:

Implement a market-based ‘Cap and Trade’ solution
Increase taxes and government subsidies
Buy tickets to see Leo’s latest flop
Do nothing and hope it will get better
Undecided, but we do need to find a solution
