Fix Climate Change, Create Jobs
by Tucker Eskew
March 17th, 2008

Now that’s a powerful message coming from three senior business executives who know a lot about creating jobs.

In a new nationwide TV ad premiering today, three surprising voices join the climate chorus:

These leaders urge Congress to adopt a market-based cap & trade policy. They’ve put their business credibility to work for this message: cap & trade will drive the investments necessary to create American jobs and stop climate change.

The ad is sponsored by the Environmental Defense Action Fund. We’re highlighting it on Terra Rossa’s home page, or you can watch it below.

As Eaton’s Sandy Cutler said, “Green is not only good for the environment, it’s also good business.” Capitalists unite!

To limit pollution and reduce our dependence on foreign energy sources we should:

Implement a market-based ‘Cap and Trade’ solution
Increase taxes and government subsidies
Buy tickets to see Leo’s latest flop
Do nothing and hope it will get better
Undecided, but we do need to find a solution
