Hey Dylan… Don’t be so contemporary-centric! Unless you can prove to me that the temperature of the Earth, at this very moment, is the exact right temperature for the Earth to be at, I’m not going to worry. I will, however, continue to sell my biodiesel at a considerable premium to all of the enviro-acolytes of his lordship, The Gore. I don’t care if they do believe a lie, as long as their checks don’t bounce.

Seriously? That’s the rebuttal? Our forebearers didn’t complain about too much mammoth dung? I don’t think I could have made up a more ridiculous response. Glad to have read it, though, that’s for sure.

Anybody but Al, that was no grenade, I am serious. Why not attempt to create oxygen ? Further, why not try to ‘capture’ CO2 ?
I do stick to my original impression, that those generals and admirals were just in it for the photo op. They met, discussed, and had nothing as a result but meaningless phrases. And, let’s not forget the face of doom. A pile of crap by any name.

Here’s a solution: Adapt. I’m relatively certain that our simple nomadic forebearers didn’t try to impose strict caps on the amount of mammoth dung being burned for warmth, or complain about deforestation as the great ice sheets melted away. The heat wasn’t our fault then, it isn’t our fault now. If you prefer to believe in the CO2-global warming link, by all means buy an Al Gore carbon credit and sell your car.

Hey Amador:

From a conservative who actually wants to find a way that we on the right can engage on environment issues, how about you stop throwing grenades and start offering solutions.

I have read three comments from you on different threads and you discount every theory, but suggest nothing. I like this blog because it discusses alternatives to Al Gore’s crap. I don’t agree with all of it, but at least I am open to the discussion.

I don’t know about you, but I have always thought that the military is supposed to plan for all possibilities - even the ones I think are unlikely.
