Water pollution has presented itself as a growing problem that has expanded on earth. Many people are not aware of the issue, but more and more people are speaking out today. Many people only think of air pollution when the word pollution is mentioned. However, there are other forms of pollution that are just as harmful, and just as prevalent. Water pollution is the contamination of bodies of water, including rivers, oceans, lakes, and groundwater. Water pollution effects those that inhabit any of those bodies of earth, and also includes the plant life that lives and dwells under water. This type of pollution is very dangerous to the species that live in the water. Water pollution pollutes the air that they breathe, causing there to be a compromise in the air quality that these creatures intake. Water pollution is also harmful to those that feed on water animals in order to survive. This type of pollution effects the healthiness of the water creatures, which, in turn, effects the food that is consumed from these bodies of water. For these reasons, it is crucial that we do not ignore this issue. It is imperative that we continue to measure the water pollution that each body of water is subjected to. Pollution needs to be monitored in order to find out ways to eliminate or at least minimize its exposure to society. There are many factors that are said to have a direct relationship to the water pollution that has taken over many of our most cherished bodies of water.
1. One of the causes that are deemed to be a cause of water pollution is industrial farming. Many scientists have stated that the pollution of water is largely due to the fact that there are an increasing number of industrial farms. The goal is to have more produce to stimulate the economy, but the pollution that this causes effects our water life. But, in hindsight, we have to keep in mind the pollution that is output into the earth effects another form of food production.
2. Another cause that is said to be associated with water pollution is a more direct form of pollution that is projected right into the water. There an increasing number of water vehicles that are becoming more and more technologically equipped that lead to an increase in the water pollution that is asserted. You will find that more and more of these vehicles are being launched into the water ways; therefore lashing out higher numbers of pollution. There is an growing number of people that are more concerned with living the luxurious life on top of water, rather than about the living organisms that just want a healthy life, under water. Although this causing factor of water pollution is not always mentioned, it has been the topic of discussion in relation to water pollution in recent years.
